While the caped crusaders of comic books may excite our imaginations, we don’ t have to look to fiction to find heroes. They exist all around us: neighbours, volunteers, role models, and yes, ARTA members, who work to make their communities a better place for all.
The best heroes go further, giving us the push we need to be a little more heroic in our own lives and ask ourselves how we can help. Heroism isn’ t something you age out of; it’ s something you grow into.
