5 ) How much coverage do I have for dental cleanings ? Dental cleanings consist of scaling and root planing , which are done in time units . One unit is 15 minutes , and the plan covers a maximum of eight units every calendar year . This procedure does not have to coincide with your regular dental checkup .
6 ) Are there different types of crowns ? Yes . For those members enrolled in dental plan A , there is separate coverage for crowns on natural teeth and for dental implants , which include the crown on the implant .
Travel Reminder If you are leaving Canada for an extended period of time and you wish to purchase more than a 100-day supply of prescription medication , you will need to complete the ‘ Greater than 100-Day Supply of Prescription Drugs Request ’ form . This form must be received at least five business days prior to your trip to allow for enough time to process the claim and get the information to your pharmacist . You will be able to pick up your prescription medication no earlier than seven days prior to your date of departure . If you do not have enough time to complete this process , you can still purchase your medication , paying out-ofpocket , and then complete and submit an ‘ Early Refill Request ’ form for reimbursement when you are home .

If you haven ’ t registered for an account , you will receive your premium and claims summary in the mail in late February .
