JERRY STEFANYK | Director , Member Services , ARTA Special Notice for Education Sector Members With Healthcare Benefits : Did your ARTA membership expire on June 30 , 2017 ? Read on !

ARTA has instituted a new service for Education Sector members with healthcare benefits . This change does not apply to Public or Private Sector members .

For Education Sector members with healthcare benefits , the ARTA membership fee that you currently pay yearly can now be deducted along with your healthcare premiums on a monthly basis . A Pre-Authorized Debit ( PAD ) agreement outlining this change was mailed or emailed to you to put this into effect . If you have not yet returned the PAD agreement to us or have not paid your annual membership fee , you could stand to lose your ARTA healthcare benefits .

At this time , ARTA is only focusing on Education Sector members whose membership terminated on June 30 , 2017 . Please check your ARTA membership card for your expiry date . If your membership expired on June 30 , 2017 , and you have not yet contacted us , please do so immediately to arrange payment . If your membership expires in June 2018 or after , you are not required to do anything this year .

We appreciate those members who have already sent in the PAD agreement or have paid their membership for the upcoming year ( s ).

The PAD agreement applies only to Education Sector members who have an extended healthcare policy with ARTA . If you do not have a healthcare policy with us , we cannot deduct your ARTA membership fees monthly .
