Are you looking for a meaningful way to impact the lives of older adults in our community ? We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to choose from !
Friendly Visitor Program : reducing isolation of seniors in our community . Brighten someone ’ s day and grow lasting friendships with weekly visits that could include games , chatting over coffee , or going for a walk .
Memory Care Program : supporting people navigating memory loss or dementia . You ’ ll receive the Alzheimer Society ’ s Best Friends Approach™ training and ongoing support . Weekly visits include engaging your senior in memory-enhancing activities while giving their partner a chance for respite .
ESL program : helping seniors learn English in a fun-filled environment . Use your professional skills and enjoy lively conversations , games , and plenty of laughter !
Join our Volunteer Team and use your skills and enthusiasm to help enrich lives .

Visit Exotic Cambodia by Bicycle November 2025

Includes tours of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat , the Killing Fields , a ride along the epic Mekong River , and two days at a tropical beach resort , plus other attractions .
This recreational ride is open to cyclists of all abilities , with the option of using e-bikes .
Experience the culture , cuisine , and hospitality of the Cambodian people in a professionally guided experience with a trusted local company — hosted by representatives of No Ordinary Journey Foundation based in Calgary , who will accompany you on the journey , ensuring your safety and comfort .
This is a fundraising trip for the No Ordinary Journey Foundation , a registered Canadian charity (# 813857489 ), supporting children with cerebral palsy and their families in Southeast Asia since 2014 . Participants will receive a charitable receipt for C $ 250 .
14 days of adventure in Southeast Asia .
Two departure dates : November 2 and November 30 , 2025 .
