As you read through the many stories about connecting in this issue of news & views , it ’ s important to remember that not all connections are desirable . ARTA takes every precaution to protect member information from prying eyes and digital scammers . Beware of suspicious emails that mimic people or organizations in your life , and never give out any personal or financial information without verifying the source of the request . If you ’ re suspicious , don ’ t reply to the person who contacted you . Instead , contact the organization directly using the phone number or email listed on their website .
