He currently serves as a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta , holds the Alberta Health Services Chair in Healthy Ageing , and is recognized nationally and internationally for his work . With an in-depth perspective of healthcare , he participates in numerous activities promoting health literacy and the healthy ageing of seniors so they can live their best life .
