One of our speakers : Lieut . Col . Damian Olivieri meals by a home economist , how to do your family genealogy by the president of a genealogy association in Edmonton , and readings by the author of a trilogy that is on the best-sellers list .
Interesting as these presentations are , we also enjoy variety . At Christmas we might have a skit and a sing along . There might be a fashion show , a silent auction , or a sale where members sell what they have made , baked , or grown .
Besides the breakfasts , we usually go to one dinner theatre a year , we organize a picnic in July , and we attend horse racing in August .
