ARTA in Motion

Movement can mean different things for different people. It is necessary to move in order to thrive and survive.
Movement is also important for an organization. Organizations must constantly be aware of competitors, changing societal trends, and altered economic circumstances, just to name a few of today’ s challenges.
ARTA recognizes these challenges and the need to move forward, which is why we develop and implement strategic five-year plans, to move with the times. ARTA’ s Strategic Plan 2026 – 2030, Mapping the Future, is designed to help us focus on the everchanging needs and demands of members as we work to deliver on our vision of facilitating healthy, active, involved lifestyles in retirement.
We continue to provide top-notch member services, and those services will change and adapt as new technologies, advances in health-related issues, and emerging health trends come forward. Our Health Benefits Committee examines coverage limits, new medical devices, and medical research on an annual basis to ensure we stay current and offer members the best benefit plans possible.
On the technology side, we are in the midst of a significant overhaul of our systems, making them more robust and improving the security of our members’ digital information.
Our Pension & Financial Wellness Committee continues to search out and report on new books that are relevant to our members, as well as offer in-person and online webinars on topics of current concern, such as elder financial abuse, wills and legal documents, and scams affecting seniors.
The Wellness Committee continues its stellar work in all other areas of wellness, filling our Living Well blog, news & views, and ARTAfacts newsletters with current, topical, and well-researched articles dealing with the many facets of wellness.
ARTA’ s desire to thrive has not gone unnoticed; in fact, Canada’ s premier publication for professionals within the benefits, pension, and institutional investment space, Benefits and Pension Monitor, has selected ARTA as one of its Top Employers for 2026.
